There should be an option to NOT require a VM pin, or at least the ability to make changes to a user's profile without requiring a PIN. We have several customers who do not want a PIN setup on their VM, and while we don't recommend that for security purposes, they should have the option to choose.if they don't want to enter a PIN to access voicemails on their voip phone.

I agree that the profile page in the PBX portal shouldn't require a PIN to be set to save (for administrative users at least), just like on create we don't have to set a password or PIN since the user can do it later. However, using a PIN if you need to access voicemail should be required for security.

I can create an account without requiring a PIN, but not make changes to an account profile without requiring a PIN.

I have instances in shared areas where i need this and forced to change the voicemail dial string so that it auto dials the pin after the user presses the VM button.
